Bendigo Takes Gold in the Inaugural Golden Inter-club regional challenge.

The Bendigo Pickleball Club were victorious in securing the gold medal position in the inaugural Golden inter-club challenge.
Held at Bendigo’s Red Energy Arena (REA) on Sunday 9th February 2025, 64 players representing Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton and Drysdale-Clifton Springs pickleball clubs competed in 4 grades of hot pickleball action.
Four members represented their respective clubs in each grade, over 3 rounds with points awarded to each club, based on their final ladder standings in each grade.
Team Ballarat claimed the honours in the A grade section, whilst Bendigo made it a clean sweep in B, C and D grades.
Final Standings and points per club as follows:
1st – Bendigo 30 pts
2nd – Ballarat 22pts
3rd – Drysdale-Clifton Springs 16pts
4th – Shepparton 12pts
Bendigo Pickleball Club President and Tournament Director, Mr Paul Henshall was delighted with the large turnout from both players and spectators alike.
